"All the stars and boulevards..."
This song just makes me feel refreshed. Augustana is purely lovely.
They also have a song in which the singer wants to go to Boston to see the seasons and the snow, leaving the bland mildness of California. I would have to sharply disagree with Augustana on this point. I badly want to go to California for college... but alas it is a faraway dream for me in this ugly economy. Dreams are wonderful for inspiration, but they seem so distant and pointless in the current situation. When do I give up hope? When do I stop persevering? When do I live a good life? There are so many questions and so few answers. One day I will see myself and feel refreshed and all the worried moments of the past will seem petty and foolish compared to the wonderment of the future.

Startin a blog
So, this is me... starting a blog, or at least attempting to.
There is a lot to say about my life. Or maybe there isn't. It's all relative. But I'm just going to pretend I'm important and spill about all the exciting things I have to say.
My blog title is sort of interesting, but I tried to sum up a lot about me and I have to say that I am quite a multifaceted person. But we all think we are special. It's a good thing to have self-esteem and pride in yourself because so often we look down upon ourselves, lose hope, and lose aspirations. This blog will hopefully be an outlet for the struggles in my life, whether they are as pitifully uninteresting like procrastination or the hopefully inspirational ideas about changing the globe.
I love a novel called The Twenty-One Balloons, and it is part of the name to my title. I also pulled off of the seven steps to Nirvana (although I'm Jewish), and put in a bit of my love for the environment and my search for harmony.
So... twenty-one balloons to eco-harmony. Let's lift off.
